Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

In this two- hour workshop, you will learn the best posture for your body, how to identify and stay with your breath, and techniques for how to quiet your mind. The benefits you experience on the cushion will help you be fully present for your life off the cushion. We will be focusing primarily on mindfulness meditation but will also practice one alternative form of meditation. In addition, you will be given instruction on how to set up – and commit to - your home practice.
